This policy explains how Jeeves (HK) Limited (“we”) collect, use and protect personal data in Hong Kong. We are the data user under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).

What we collect

We collect only what we need to provide cleaning, restoration, repair and collection or delivery services. This may include your name, telephone number, email address, delivery or billing address, order and garment details, invoice and payment status, and messages you send us. We do not ask for Hong Kong identity card numbers. Card payments are handled by our payment provider. We do not store your card number.

Why we use it

We use your data to take in and return your items, prepare invoices, arrange collection and delivery, deal with enquiries and claims, and keep records we are required to keep. We do not sell your personal data. We do not pass it to any group company for marketing or account administration.

Direct marketing

We will send you offers about Jeeves cleaning, restoration and related services. You can opt out of this. You may opt out at any time, free of charge, by telling the shop or using the unsubscribe link. We will not provide your data to another business.

Who we share it with

We share data only with people who need it to provide the service: our staff, our collection and delivery couriers, our payment and IT providers, and our professional advisers. They may use it only on our instructions. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep order and account records for as long as needed for the service, any claim, and our legal and tax duties. Marketing contact details are removed when you opt out, unless we must keep a record of that request for statutory reasons.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No online system is completely secure. If a breach is likely to cause real harm, we will tell the affected customers and, where appropriate, the Privacy Commissioner.

Your rights

You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, and to correct it if it is wrong. Please make the request in writing to the shop you use, or through the contact details on jeeves.com.hk. We will respond within a reasonable period of time.

Website

Our website uses cookies that are needed for the site to work, and optional cookies for basic usage statistics. You can block cookies in your browser. A link on our site to another website is not covered by this policy.

If a service provider stores data outside Hong Kong, we require it to protect the data and to use it only for the purpose we set.

If there is any difference between the English and Chinese versions, the English version prevails.
