Dear JEEVES Clients,

Thank you for choosing JEEVES. I wish you a very pleasant September!
This month, I’d like to share some helpful home remedies for stain removal.

🧼 Home Remedies for Stain Removal

Act Quickly:
The longer a stain sits, the harder it is to remove. Treat stains as soon as possible for the best results.

1. Sweat & Food Stains
Try a baking soda paste (baking soda + water).

  • Apply directly to the stain
  • Let it sit for 30 minutes
  • Gently blot—avoid aggressive rubbing, as baking soda is mildly abrasive

2. Coffee & Tea Stains
Use a white vinegar solution (1 part vinegar + 2 parts water).

  • Dab the stain gently to lift it
  • Never rub aggressively, as this can push the stain deeper into the fabric

3. Grease, Dirt & Pen Marks
Mix 2 parts hydrogen peroxide with 1 part dish soap.

  • Apply with a soft brush
  • Let it sit for 15–30 minutes
  • Note: Avoid using this on coloured fabrics, as hydrogen peroxide may lighten dyes

4. Stain Remover pens
These can be effective but be sure to launder promptly after stain removal. If left too long, the solution may leave a permanent watermark stain.

 🧪 ALWAYS TEST FIRST!
Before applying any remedy, test it on a small, inconspicuous area to check for colour loss or fabric damage.

🧵 JEEVES Fabric Care Reminder
Not all fabrics respond the same way to home remedies. For delicate or valuable items, professional care is always recommended. At JEEVES, we bring decades of experience and specialized equipment to ensure safe, effective stain removal while preserving fabric integrity.
